TOWN OF KENTON
NOTICE OF ELECTION
| The Town of Kenton will hold its Annual Municipal Election on
Monday, May 20, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Kenton School/Town Hall at 284 S. Main Street, Kenton, Delaware. |
Candidates for the five (5) open Town Council seats are:
| Bruce Bartlett | Nicholas Beaudet | John Blanchfield |
| Jane Kime | Joan Luttrell | Joe McClements |
Voter Registration and Qualifications to Vote
Anyone who has not registered for a prior municipal election may register at the election during the hours the polls are open by providing evidence of the following qualifications to vote: (1) that you are 18 years of age or older and (2) that you have been continuously domiciled in Kenton for at least 30 days prior to the election date. This evidence can take the form of some combination of a photo identification, driver’s license, utility bill, or other similar evidence. By registering to vote, you are affirming that you meet the following qualifications to vote: (1) you have not been adjudged incompetent by a court of competent jurisdiction and (2) you have not been convicted of a felony or disenfranchised.
Please note that the offices of Town Treasurer and Town Assessor will not appear on the ballot because Robin Kassing ran unopposed for the office of Town Treasurer and Jessica Penawell ran unopposed for the office of Town Assessor.
